I did see a lifted Land-Rover in Germany, actually. Not megabro lifted, but lifted nonetheless. Take that with those who own, say, the 78 Lincoln four door convertible on wikipedia and other over the top cars I've seen pictures of in Germany, not to mention the redneckish strain that led to the Russian radial-powered Goggomobil...
What I'm saying is, there are a surprising number of 'MURICA-ish outlook Germans, just not nationalistically so.
